Format: One session per
week for eight weeks (3.5 hours each) with homework in
between the sessions to apply and practice the tools
learned.

Course Content
Session 1: Awakening the
Real You
Most of us show the world a
version of ourselves that we think others want to see. This
hampers our ability to present our true self to the world,
and dilutes our ability to interact effectively with others.
In this first session, you will
begin the process of being the real you with people so that
people see all that YOU are and want to be.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will:
Feel ready to embrace change
in a safe and supportive setting;
Feel self-assured in your
new ability to initiate and carry on meaningful
conversations and build relationships with new people;
Begin creating your vision
of the real you.
Homework: Create your
vision for the “Real You” and be prepared to share your
vision with the class.

Session 2: The Real You
This session shows you how to
present the real you all the time by changing limiting
beliefs that may have altered your expression of yourself.
You will also begin allowing others to experience your real
self in a safe, encouraging and supportive environment.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will:
Have your final vision and
tools to embed it in your subconscious;
Begin to speak in public
more powerfully;
Know specific principles and
techniques of human relationships.
Homework: Apply the
relationship principles learned to a specific person in your
life, and prepare a two-minute report.

Session 3: The Real
Influential You
As you become re-acquainted with
the real you, you will redirect some of your energy to the
enhancement of existing relationships and the creation of
new ones. You will further develop your human relationship
skills and your skills to speak effectively; all being built
around the real you.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will:
Know how to gain the trust
and respect of other people;
Feel confident in your
interpersonal communication skills;
Use a three-step formula for
being a high-impact communicator.
Homework: Speaking to
inform: Prepare a two-minute report which uses the
three-step formula as well as visual aids to teach the class
something new.

Session 4: The Real You Comes
Back to Life
By now you are going through
life feeling more authentic and less pressured to be what
you think others want you to be. Now it’s time to begin
fully expressing the real you while honing your speaking and
communication skills so that you can express yourself with
clarity.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will:
Know how to use visual aids
to add meaning to your conversations and presentations;
Be able to use a specific
formula communicating complex information simply and
with lasting impact;
Begin the process of
releasing yourself from ego and feeling free to
authentically express the real you.
Homework: Prepare a
sixty-second talk in which you demonstrate to the class a
process or activity that requires a high level of animation
and action.

Session 5: The Real You in
Motion
Now that you know that it’s safe
to fully express who you really are, you will further
develop your communication skills by exercising artistic
control over your voice, your body and the overall delivery
of your message so that you can have the impact that you
want to have.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will:
Feel confident in your
ability to be highly expressive and animated when you
communicate;
Know how to use your body
and your voice to add impact, entertainment and
expression into your communications.
Homework: Prepare a
two-minute report where you express your strong opinion
about an issue that is close to your heart.

Session 6: When the Real You
Speaks, the World Will Listen
Do you have something that you
need to say? Do you have an opinion that you need to
express? In this session you will voice your real thoughts
about an issue or a subject that stirs your soul. You will
take the stage and be free to express your authentic
thoughts and feelings as only the real you can.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will
Know how to win over an
audience with your new conviction, self assurance and
powerful communication skills;
Feel confident that you can
speak without notice or preparation at almost any time;
Have the tools to deliver a
powerful and persuasive formal presentation.
Homework: Prepare a
five-minute promotional presentation about your business or
a five minute informative presentation about a hobby,
interest or a compelling issue.

Session 7: Presenting the
Real You
Now it’s time to take charge,
and sell yourself and your ideas. In this session you will
make an informative presentation about your business, a
hobby or an important issue in which you will offer us a
compelling reason why we must act now.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will
Know how to
capture your audience’s attention with a compelling opening;
Be able to move
your audience into action with a powerful closing;
Have the tools to
deliver a presentation that could change the lives of
others.
Homework:
Prepare a two-minute
motivational talk which compels your audience to act on
or change something in their lives and…
Prepare a two-minute report
about a specific incident which demonstrates the most
significant benefit you have received from this course,
and how it will impact your life going forward.

Session 8: Your Real Future
In this final session, you will
bring it all together by applying everything you have
learned to motivate us to make a change in our own lives.
The real you is now ready to create your own future; a
future based on authentic self expression, self assurance,
strong human relationship principles and powerful
communication skills.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this session, you
will
Know that the
vision you created for your life is that of the real you;
Feel confident
that you are now empowered to influence people and forge
strong relationships;
Have the tools to
deliver a compelling message on the stage or off the stage,
to anyone at any time;
Leave this course
with a renewed sense of accomplishment and excitement about
the future that “The Real You” will create.
